Brief Bio:

After obtaining the B. Sc. degree from Department of Chemistry, Northeast Normal University in 2003, LLS joined Prof. Zhuang Li research group in State Key Laboratory of Electroanalytical Chemistry, Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry. During her PhD studies, the main research interests has been focused on the self-assembly of silver nanoparticles templated on DNA strands, and their applications in surface enhancement Raman scattering. After obtaining the PhD degree in 2009, LLS moved to State Key Laboratory of Luminescence and Application, Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, for a post doc position in the group of Prof. Dongxu Zhao. During this period, LLS worked on preparation of vertically aligned zinc oxide nanorod array and modification with gold or silver nanoparticles. In Sep. 2011, LLS moved to Prof. Xiaowei Sun research group at Nanyang Technological University as a visiting scholar. Since April 2012, LLS joined Dr. Xingyi Ling research group, and mainly worked on preparation of dimers of silver nanocubes based on DNA. In May 2013, LLS joined Dr. Kasper Moth-Poulsen and prof. M. Käll research groups at Chalmers University of Technology as a post-doc.

Current Research Activities:

The present project involves the preparation of plasmonic dimers of silver/gold nanoparticles.
