Research Interests:

Developing new technologies in sustainable energy areas is my major ambition in order to come up with more efficient and cost effective solutions that are capable of replacing the conventional non-renewable energy resources. Based on my mechanical engineering and product development background, I am particularly interested in applying some principles of mechanical engineering (e.g. fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, etc.), and product design and development into this application.

Brief Bio:

In 2011, I graduated my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. My bachelor’s thesis was primarily about fluid dynamics, where the flow regimes and characteristics of a synthetic jet driven by a diaphragm were investigated. Subsequently, I came to Sweden to pursue my master’s study in product development at Chalmers University of Technology. During the spring semester 2012, I, together with the other five students in my program, conducted a product development project in association with Vigor Wave Energy AB in order to develop the next generation prototype of wave energy converter. From now until this summer, I am going to work on my master’s thesis, which aims to develop a new solar collector with a higher efficiency and cost-effectiveness for the Molecular Solar Thermal (MOST) energy system.
